Over the dunes and far away a tree or two thrive. Walking we saw an old peer stump, I turned and looked back to the mountain, Mt Wellington. Enjoying the weather we walked along the board walk where Tasmanian’s come out in shorts once the weather hits 20 degrees centigrade…
100_7997100_8006100_8005  The bathing block at Nutgrove with an interesting mural that has been there since year dot! I remember it when I was growing up so it must be old. *wink*

100_8012 100_8013 100_8014 Back in the 1940’s Tasmania thought it had better defend it’s self, so gun bunkers were built at the mouth of the Derwent.
And finally, some reason, OH WAIT it’s the sun!! out come the car fanatics on the first Sunday of every month and we were lucky to be walking past.

I preferred the old Bentley myself but the man who owns it wouldn’t give it to me, shame, I would look stunning in that car.
So ends another stunning daylight savings day in paradise.
