The journey started from the Cenotaph (which is behind me in the photo) up Davey Street to Huon Road South Hobart. In the foreground is the Baja dome, Mt wellington to the rear.
The heritage listed smoke stack.
(far left) The rear of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, Art deco building of Hobart which has now become the Hobart City Council headquarters.
Climbing up Davey street, the Repatriation Hospital, next stop the military barracks.
House on your left Church on the right The cross roads of Hobart and Kingston.
Cascade Road (one of the roads off the cross road)
How the mountain was feeling on Tuesday.
My rainbow connection for Wednesday 15/09/2010 as I looked out the window at 6:30am. The following photos along with the rainbow ones were taken all within the time frame of four and a half hours.
Then the weather turned slightly sour……
Driving back up Davey street after my trip to the gym, those clouds were not in our favour.
Things you SHOULD NOT DO WHILE DRIVING A CAR…………take photos..The weather is definitely taking a turn for the worse, we now have weather reports saying that on Thursday there will be low snow to sea level…..
Enough to make you feel sea sick with all the rocking and rolling and tossing and………………Where did the mountain go???
(Just thought I would throw in a photo of the picturesque Hobart Municipal Dump (above right photo).
Stay tuned for some more seriously cold spring day photos……..and hopefully some fun in the snow shots….. (hahaha this is HOBART? )
