FINALLY SOME SUN! SO IT'S BEACH, ROCKS, GUN TURRETS AND OLD CARS
Tasmanians come out in droves when the sun shines,,,oh, sorry well a couple of Tasmanians came out to get some exercise. (Does 5 tasweigens = a drove? )
Wrest Point Casino.
My lovely son wiggling his toes in the surf.
In the distance the Tasman Bridge.
Over the dunes and far away a tree or two thrive. Walking we saw an old peer stump, I turned and looked back to the mountain, Mt Wellington. Enjoying the weather we walked along the board walk where Tasmanian’s come out in shorts once the weather hits 20 degrees centigrade…
The bathing block at Nutgrove with an interesting mural that has been there since year dot! I remember it when I was growing up so it must be old. *wink*
Lovely liken
Back in the 1940’s Tasmania thought it had better defend it’s self, so gun bunkers were built at the mouth of the Derwent.
And finally, some reason, OH WAIT it’s the sun!! out come the car fanatics on the first Sunday of every month and we were lucky to be walking past.
My son was lucky enough to sit in a friends LOTUS, so now he wants one……..I told him to dream on,,*hehehe* and keep saving all his birthday money.
I preferred the old Bentley myself but the man who owns it wouldn’t give it to me, shame, I would look stunning in that car.
So ends another stunning daylight savings day in paradise.
